Quick fix for Save/Open folder bug
Authored by: AndrewSwift on Dec 30, '10 02:41:20AM

1. I can confirm that tab access to all controls does not modify this behavior on 10.6.5, restarting included.

2. It is definitely annoying, especially when I have been working in one folder then need to save a file in the parent folder (so this tip is useful, but it's too bad that it's necessary).

3. The behavior SHOULD be that cmd-S saves in the current folder and cmd-O opens a folder. It is counterintuitive that cmd-S would open a folder. Or that pressing return on a save button would open a folder. It's just wrong.

4. Can someone confirm that this behavior was present on older systems? It seems like a recent problem -- I've only become aware of it in the past few weeks.

5. Can someone confirm that this behavior is not present on their 10.6.5 system? If so there must be a preference that controls it.
