Automate sending attachment in Thunderbird
This would be cool if it didn't need to quit Thunderbird first. ---

Automate sending attachment in Thunderbird
Can't you just drag files onto its icon in the dock?
Postbox (which is like Thunderbird on steroids) works that way. Drag files onto its icon and it'll throw up a new message window with those files in place as attachments. You can also use "Open With…" in the Finder's contextual menu and Postbox will open a new message with the selected files as and attachment.

Thunderbird doesn't let me drop any file icons onto it, at least not any of the ones I want to send, like JPG, PDF, or CSV. ---
