How are any of these hints! This is just standard replacing files in the Resources folder, in fact, it's a bad way because it's destructive, better to modify plist files and add your own files to the resources folder.

What part of my comment did you NOT understand? I did EXACTLY what you describe (edit plist and add jpgs to Resources) and only some of the new genre's icons changed? Not everyone knows where to find these application resources (not in the OS X or iTunes User Guides). How about a positive comment or a suggestion to my posted issue?
