Ah well, any idea if it's illegal to post the iTunes 9 icns file online? Now THAT would be a big help to people, to change my own I had to go to an old cloned backup of mine via USB drive.

I believe that could be construed as copyright/trademark infringement, so I won't do it.

Actually, that's why I edited in the part about looking in a backup for the icon.

If that bothers you and you're running 10.6, you'll find a copy of the older itunes.icns in the QuickTime Player.app bundle (in Contents/Resources).

Make a copy of it while you can. I expect it'll be changed to the new one with the next QuickTime software update.
