Use Apple's Magic Mouse in Tiger 10.4
Just happened to get a Magic Mouse today as my Mighty Mouse scroll wheel bit the dust. I was disappointed that Apple didn't have the old mouse which I liked. The Magic Mouse while having a nice finger scroll lacked the third programable click. So I was pleased to see this timely hint. This driver is so cool. I now just tap the Magic Mouse for left and right click. Similar scroll action as Apple's driver. But now with two finger scroll there's 5x acceleration. Two finger tap yields Dashboard. Every thing is programable. I haven't even figured out what I'd like a three finger swipe to do. This is a beta drive good until September. I think it will be 20 bucks for full version which I'll be happy to pay. So cool.

Or try MagicPrefs, a free PrefPane:

But the whole point of this hint was getting Magic Mouse to work in 10.4...and magicpref is for 10.5 only. |
