iOS4: play music videos in background

I don't believe this works anymore in iOS4. At least, it doesn't work for me. Here's my work around –and no, it's not entirely painless.

1. Create a playlist on your iPhone and add all of your music videos to it.
2. Add one song to the playlist that is purely audio (not a music video).
3. To play a particular music video in the background, click "edit" at the top of the screen and drag the non-video file to the position directly before the music video you want to play, then tap "done."
4. Tap the audio file to begin playing.
5. Press the home button and return to the home screen.
6. Double-click the home button, swipe to the right to view the iPod controls.
7. Tap the "next song" button.

Your audio should begin playing from your music video. You can now surf the internet, browse pictures, etc. while listening to just the audio. Don't forget to make sure that "shuffle" is not enabled, otherwise it will just start playing random songs. It's not as easy as it should be, but this is the only way I could figure out to get it to work.
