iOS4 Location Services privacy settings
"In iPad, a little NE pointing arrow appears in the top bar to alert you that the GPS is being accessed from an application, and that function is now in iOS4 as well."I dont see this on the iPad "Note you will no longer be presented with the dialog box asking for permission to use your current location in apps, but will instead be warned by an app that you've turned off that it can't get current information. An app which is enabled will display the arrow icon."Are you using 4.0? I still get the notifications first before it will use my location.
iOS4 Location Services privacy settings
Yes, I'm still getting the old notification first for each application. This happens ONCE only after upgrading to iOS4. Then the app list under the Location Services settings is populated. Once an app is populated in the list, you can control it from there. |
