Re-enable the Refresh button in Safari 5
How difficult is it to press cmd+R? Try doing so while holding a sloppy sandwich in your left hand (I hate getting mayonnaise on my keyboard). Or when surfing the Web California style: sitting way back in your chair such that the keyboard is out of reach but your rodent of choice is not.
Back in my day [waving cane]—when Mac v. DOS wars were still raging—there were many claims that keyboard use is faster than mouse use. I now refer you to Bruce Tognazzini: We’ve done a cool $50 million of R & D on the Apple Human Interface. We discovered, among other things, two pertinent facts:(see http://www.asktog.com/TOI/toi06KeyboardVMouse1.html) Considering that Web browsing usually involves a lot of clicking, it's often much easier to use the mouse. And considering that a lot of people still use their mouse to click on OK buttons, it can indeed be deemed very difficult. :-j PS: Using the Mac OS X Hints comment editor for HTML formatting suffers from the same keyboard chauvinism. ---
