Actually, to clarify a bit on this function, I believe that the trackpad just registers the "two fingers down and one moving" as scrolling. (It works right now in Safari, and in Logic) Scrolling over many other interface parts, especially Logic's built in synths and plugins, is standard "adjust this" bevavior that i have used for some time. I don't know if it is documented though. (i also don't know how i know to do that...hrmm.)

since posting this i discovered that, as suggested in the above comment, the gesture is actually the rotate gesture. i still couldn't find it in the logic docs, but garage band has it.
