Where can I deactivate
Authored by: daveschroeder on Sep 15, '02 12:40:08AM

"Other..." shows up in list of users mode on 10.2 when one of two things is true:

1. the root user is enabled, or

2. a network or other authentication agent is available

I'm guessing you probably enabled root. Disable the root user via NetInfo Manager, and "Other..." will go away. (And just in case you think you need root enabled, you don't. You can do everything you need to do with sudo, and even get a root shell with 'sudo su' or 'sudo -s').
