I am with you, video chats is what will kick it over for me.

But, I see people complaining about the price. Before the price was announced at $499, many speculated in the $1,000+ range. Always price cheapskates no matter what the price is. Rant on/

One guy says $300. If Steve had announced it at $300 he would have said $100 is the right price. I tell him to go to work at Walmart and buy their throwaway crap at $70. Me, I keep my stuff for years past what most other technology is useful. Still using Ti Powerbook 400 mHz, an 8 year old Powermac, etc. they work fantastic for what I do (medical business). Against my advice, one of my employees bought a cheap $400 dollar generic windows laptop. Guess what? 5 months later it crashes and she had to buy another one. Now she is in a refurbed Macbook price range. STOOOPID!!
I just grin and bear it.

I know a reputable used car dealer and told her to go to him for a new car after she wrecked hers. Guess what? Went to someone else and they sold her a car that had been wrecked. Found out because the wheel alignment was off and she took it in to have it looked at. Stooopid! AGAIN. Oh well. (Yes I know how to spell) Rant off/

Back to thread. I think the second gen. will probably be the huge mover, people waiting and seeing. Add video chat and fix bugs, more applied software. Oh my, just wait. (Buy AAPL soon, it may rocket)
