There's one option missing on the poll:
I'll probably won't buy it for myself, but I consider buying it for my parents. Or possibly even for my grandmother, who never used a computer in her life. She did however use my iPod Touch, were she complained about the small screen.

This is definitely the computer for the rest out there: old people, people who are afraid of computers, people who never used a mouse before, or even a typewriter.

Keep in mind, though, to get the most out of this device, you still *need* a computer. You can't load media (unless you buy it all at the iTunes store), you can't get images onto the device (unless you buy the Camera Connection kit and transfer them, one memory card's worth at a time), and you probably can't run software updates except through iTunes on a PC or Mac.

I was hoping it might actually be usable as an "only" device for that target market, but it seems this isn't the case.
