Set the Epson Print Monitor to launch in the background
Authored by: faletti on Jan 11, '10 09:33:06PM

The original suggestion is tremendously helpful. As a Terminal-free variation, I double-clicked the info.plist file and used the property list editor to accomplish the same thing. I added the suggested LSBackgroundOnly key using the property list editor and made sure the checkbox was checked to say I wanted the print monitor to run only in the background. That worked for me in 10.6.2. Thanks. (Note: The comment suggesting zipping the file didn't work for me. The next time I printed, it generated an error message that the file could not be found.)
