Re-enable text-only zoom in Safari
Authored by: timcrawf on Dec 18, '09 10:34:58AM

Darn, I had hoped this would work for me, but it doesn't. I really, really dislike the full page zoom. I have wanted the text only zoom since they took it away. However when I tried this, it did nothing.
In fact when I ran the read defaults command, it showed me nothing. I even tried changing the grep to Zoom or even oom and even *oom*. It always came back with no output.

So this must not work for everyone.

You don't get text-only zoom when you enable it in the menus? Odd.

No, I would seem to have the same problem you had. Unfortunately your fix doesn't work for me. As stated, the defaults read command does not find the offending line that you had.

Well, now it appears to work, not sure what fixed it, but I am slightly happier now. :-)

Happy Holidays
