Enable sound in 64-bit Windows in VirtualBox
Authored by: OverZealous on Dec 16, '09 05:45:10PM

In short: You'll just need to install it and see what happens.

But, most likely it will not work, because VirtualBox is not able to virtualize the 3D card very well. This is why you can't use Aero or just about any new feature from Windows 7 with VBox.

I haven't tried any or the pay virtual machines recently, but my past experience is that games usually play horribly slow when virtualized.

All that being said (and I know you probably don't want to re-buy it), but Lego IJ is available for Macs.

Haha I was gonna comment then I noticed this was half a month old! Did it work/did you end up trying it? Parallels 4 does have a 3d acceleration option and it works (and is advertised as such) with some games, but I guess it's still not enough for some. ie. Call Of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare works in it for me, but Modern Warfare 2 does not (both run flawlessly under boot camp since boot camp, unlike virtualization environments, has direct access to the hardware and effectively turns your Mac into a PC.

PS. Love the sig lol! Just pointing out since I assume it's on all your posts here, it should be "their" not "there". Sorry, I'm usually not that picky! =D
