Hello, I have found this post trying to resolve a puntual problem,
and would like to asked you about what you said.
I want to temporary install final cut studio 3 in my mac book 64VRAM.
I have followed everything you have say about how to do it with the minsys.plist
changed VRAM.
My problem is that when I open the minsys.plist file with an edit sowtfare, the Plist Edit Pro
(with Xcode) I change 128 for 64 but then the program dosen`t let me save it and definetly
change the system so I can install it.

Can you help about this? Maybe I am not writting the code as it should be, I dont know.

Well, thank you if you answer me.

C.

You need super user privileges in order to save the file. Just open it in Terminal like this
sudo pico /Volumes/Final\ Cut\ Studio\ Install/Installer/FinalCutStudio.mpkg/Contents/Resources/Requirements\ Checker.app/Contents/Resources/minsys.plist
Then enter your password. Note that you won't have visual feedback when typing it. Navigate to the right section using your keyboard arrows and save using provided shortcuts at the bottom of the window.
