Move BBedit 9's Documents drawer to the left side

I vaguely remember a post by a Barebones support guru explaining how to get what you want with a simple click. I just tried discovered again how to achieve what you want in TextWrangler. I expect this to work in BBEdit. In stead of just clicking on the drawer icon in the top right window corner, do a Command+mouse-click on the drawer icon when the drawer is showing and you will see something to your liking. And it sticks.:-)

That works, thanks. And yet, it's just one more reason why I much prefer Smultron. Hiding functionality like this behind an undocumented Command-click is just silly. They already have a contextual menu on a gear icon on the drawer itself; why not just include a "Toggle Side" option there?

I'll edit the hint to reflect your much-simpler solution.

I agree that something like this really shouldn't be hidden.
I found the defaults command line trick documented on the TextWrangler list here (officially condoned by barebones support)

http://groups.google.com/group/textwrangler/browse_thread/thread/f657d994575f62ff?hl=en

and the command click method is here

http://groups.google.com/group/bbedit/browse_thread/thread/adf93696a66545d/4fc73d4e70e7438d?lnk=gst&q=document+drawer+left#4fc73d4e70e7438d

Keep these two lines together.

I found these by googling just now.
AFAICR, I was playing with a trial version of BBEdit and didn't like the drawer on the right and found these suggestions.

Came here to post the same command+click tip. I'm sure I read about it somewhere -- maybe in the release notes for whatever update added that feature.
