Smultron's no longer supported?? *sigh* Time to give BBEdit a whirl, I suppose.

I know "to each his own" and all that, but I fail to see how Smultron was ever better than BBEdit. Maybe because it's I've used BBEdit for 12+ years, and it's my favorite app ever, but I just don't see it.

I've tried out all the Mac text editors, and I always come back to BBEdit. TextMate is the next best thing I've found, but it's just not as versatile or powerful as BBEdit.

I'm open to anyone who's willing to explain what made Smultron so great.

I'm a recent Mac user (<2 years) and the decision came down to one single feature: price. Smultron was free and BBEdit is $125. I never gave BBEdit the time of day, frankly.
