Faster three-finger swipe navigation of PDFs in Preview

I use multiclutch ( http://is.gd/4Ri97 ) to control how my trackpad interacts with a lot of apps. In preview, I've got three-finger swiping up/down mapped to "Next" and "Previous", which don't use animation.

Left/Right swiping still uses the animated page scrolling, but for quick movement to the next half-page (which is what Next and Previous do), the down and up swiping is great.

MultiClutch rocks. If you have Snow Leopard installation is a bit trickier, there's a fork which uses SIMBL, and works great in SL in both 32-bit and 64-bit modes. http://is.gd/4Rie1

Check out BetterTouchTool (http://blog.boastr.net/). It works without SIMBL and supports 4-finger swipes and Magic Mouse, among other great things.
