Site upgrade complete; new features active

Hurray. Email notification on comments. This is great. But we'll see if it works first, eh. I don't see anywhere to activate it either. Am I missing something?

One thing that I noticed right away is that the article names under the "Comments last n days" column on the right are highly truncated. For example, I see
Comments last 2 days
10.6: Run Safari ... [+7]
Site upgrade comp... [+2]
...

I tried editing my comment, but it didn't work (unless there is a lag). I wanted to note that the RSS feed was never updated with this article.

RSS may be problematic at the moment. And there probably is a lag -- the site has a cache system, so it may take a few minutes.

As for the how to receive comment notifications, that's a good question. I'll follow-up once I find out how!

RSS seems to be working now. Clarification on comment thread results: you'll only get an email if someone replies to your comment, not posts a comment to the thread itself. I may look to see if I can tweak that code, as I think following the entire thread would make more sense (right? or not right?).

I think the whole thread would not be too annoying to those who don't necessarily want it, and probably most people would want it as you say. At any rate, I have not received any emails concerning this thread.
