10.6: Only show windows from current Space in Exposé

I tried this on my Mac, but I wasn't able to get it to work. For instance, I minimized a Safari window in Space 1, then switched to Space 2 and activated Exposé via a hot corner. The minimized Safari window still shows up.

I double-checked spelling, and even opened up the actual .plist file to verify that it was written to the file correctly. I even tried restarting the system, instead of only killing the Dock.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I have the option enabled to only minimize windows behind their corresponding Dock icon, rather than having their own spot on the Dock.

Anyone have any suggestions?

you're reading the hint wrong; it's got nothing to do with "minimized" windows, it deals with open windows in other spaces.

So for instance if you — like me — have finder windows open in multiple spaces but you just want to see the ones from the space you're in when you activate exposé, this hint will do that.

I thought I would really really like this hint; now I'm not sure. Hmm. I'll have to play around with it and see how it goes!
