10.6: Windows-style file paths are clickable in Mail

This would be great - except it doesn't work for me. When I mouseover a UNC style path "\\server\path" Mail tells me it will convert to "file://///server/path". I have to use the excellent LinkConverter to convert this into an appropriate smb:// path.

The file:// thing happens if it's a link to a document. If it's a link to just a folder or share, it works as advertised.
