A possible quick fix for an unresponsive Dock
Authored by: solefald on Oct 01, '09 01:53:22PM
yeah my last 3 MBP's all do that. When i am at home, they are running in clam shell mode, connected to external display and keyboard/mouse.

I've tried different ways of putting them to sleep in different order, but most of the time when i come to work and open the laptop (without external monitor attached), i am either missing all of the icons on the desktop, or Expose is not working.

Open Terminal and run these:

This fixes Expose, and stuck Dock
killall Dock

This fixes missing icons
killall Finder
