How to get the miniature player window in iTunes 9
Authored by: TheMarksman on Sep 11, '09 08:39:43AM

The problem of course is that when iTunes is not the front-most application and you option-click the green button it HIDES the front-most app. Hardly acceptable and certainly not an improvement in usability, unless you just sit with iTunes maximizing and minimizing the player and don't actually use any other apps. 8-|

OPT+click is NOT necessary when expanding FROM floating mini player with other app window frontmost. that is: expanding "floating" mini player only takes a single mouse click. thus, the current [other] active app does NOT hide.

OPT+click is ONLY needed to go TO mini player.
