10.6: Enter line breaks in text substitutions

I don't know (yet) how this feature compares with TextExpander's text-replace feature, but now seems like a good time for me to praise & recommend TextExpander, one of my favorite apps. I'm not affiliated with its makers. I'm just a very happy user.

It does more than just auto-replacing text for you. I use it to type dates and times, for example. I type "ddate" and I get: Tuesday, September 8, 2009.

It's saved a lot of time, as well as hand pain, because it can type snippets that I'd otherwise be typing again & again, such as my department or company's name, or any of several ways I sign off an email. It's a must-have app for me now.
