10.6: Quick Look windows while using Exposé

I'm not entirely sure what is meant by "the window zoomed up" but if you mean you switched to that window as if you had clicked on it, then I can confirm that works fine in 10.5, too.

Also, if that's the case, I don't know why you wouldn't just click on it if you're already moving the mouse to hover over that window.

The difference between 10.5 and 10.6 is this:

10.5: when in Exposé, if you press space while hovering over a window the window is activated as though clicking on it. This was especially useful for drag and drop operations.

10.6: when in Exposé, if you press space while hovering over a window the window is 'Quick Looked', it actually enlarges to its original size and overlaps all the other windows being displayed in Exposé and allows you to see the window in its full detail.
