Improve battery life for jailbroken iPhones
Authored by: UberFu on Sep 01, '09 09:17:08AM

I've seen Apps that somehow connect up to wherever when I have WiFi - EDGE - 3G and the Phone Disabled. So it does not surprise me that it's happening.

I found the PrivaCY App [or whatever] and installed it and disabled whatever it acts on.

I could not tell you whether it's doing anything by disabling it or not. I've always had about 2 days of battery on my iPhone 3G [running 3.0] with heavy media/ app usage.

But it's good to know that if any 3rd party App is trying to grab data without our knowledge or consent that something is actively blocking that exchange from happening.
