Or, instead of adding additional entries to all your contacts (and having to maintain them if either a number or your PIN changes), you could just use the Calling Card application on the iPhone to dial through Google Voice.

Thanks for pointing out "Calling Card." If I had known about that app I might not have written the script. (Although, I do like being able to place calls from within contacts and not having to deal with a dial confirmation dialog.)

The additional confirmation dialog for third-party might go away on a future release of the OS…

Thank you! This little app makes GV somewhat more user friendly for the iPhone. As the developer notes, if only Apple would allow the app to use the # (at the completion of dialing), it would shave a few seconds off the process. |
