What's especially cool about this hint, and is not really noted in the article, is that you can also, like in Finder, use the popup menu to navigate the current hierarchy. This is super useful when your standard History pulldown either the Menubar or the Back button) shows ten or twenty of the same page titles (e.g. "MyWebStore Checkout Process" or "Library of Downloads for MyCompany").

This tool breaks, however, if the root URL changes (e.g.: www.macosxhints.com -> macosxhints.com or -> forums.macosxhints.com).

Thanks for posting this; it used to work in older browsers dating back to Navigator, and whenever it stopped (or never started?) working properly in Safari, I stopped using it day to day.
