Drag and drop files directly to print queue windows_Finder Print Command

I thought the first commenter was clueless, but then I noticed that his was the best (in my opinion) on the page.

The trick is is that the Print command is not at the bottom of the Menu as would be expected. It is near the top.

That is the real Hint here. Especially if you apply a shortcut as he suggests.

Thanks for noticing I'm not clueless ;-)
I probably should have made it clearer that this "hint" works directly from the File menu of the Finder itself, rather than have to open the associated application first.

No, it was pretty obvious to me you were talking about Finder's File -> Print.

Drag and drop files directly to print queue windows_Finder Print Command

The poster was probably not clueless - just didn't know any other quicker methods_ But opening Sys Prefs to select a Printer and open the Queue and then dragging files there is rather cumbersome to have to open Sys Prefs al the time to print_

And from the Finder going thru the File Menu actually opens whatever given default Application is set to open the file and using the Print option thru there_ Also not all of the Apps actually jump to the Print Window after they open_

Anybody have anything quicker than Click >> Drag >> Drop (onto Icon Alias via Desktop or Dock or Sidebar or Titlebar) in the Finder ?

Slowest to Fastest

Menus >> context-Menus >> Drag and Drop >> Keyboard Commands
