Drag and drop files directly to print queue windows
Authored by: eagle on Jun 02, '09 08:18:46AM

On a related note, you can move queued print items between printers - simply open the two print queues and drag items from one queue to another.

This can be useful if you have multiple printers set up (e.g., home & work) and accidentally print to your home printer while at the office, or vice versa. Instead of deleting the item and reprinting it, just move it to the correct queue.

Yes, that is such a useful tool. I work with tons of printers and often forget to select the right one. It makes it very fast to switch printers instead of reprinting and deleting the doc from the first printer, etc.

On a side note, I believe I submitted a hint like above and like this one a few months ago. Oh well, good that it's in the database now!
