10.5: Issues with Adobe CS4 apps and Spaces in 10.5.7

Interesting that people are claiming that 10.5.7 breaks Spaces/CS4, since I'm still running 10.5.6 and just turned off Spaces (again) yesterday, after some new flaky behavior popped up. As far as I can tell, CS4 (and yes, Lightroom as well) has *never* worked right with Spaces (or is it vice versa?)!

My take is that the blame here must be shared. On the one hand, just look at the number of hints on this site that supposedly explain how to make Spaces do what one wants it to do! Obviously, Apple needs to put more effort into making it consistent in its behavior. On the other hand, corporations like Micro$oft and Adobe need to follow the same rules every other developer is told to follow, if they want their apps to behave as they should on our Macs.

I, for one, sure hope Snow Leopard delivers on the promise to be all about stability and performance, not bells & whistles. That would be a welcome change!!
