10.5: Issues with Adobe CS4 apps and Spaces in 10.5.7
This issue is not as straight forward as the post suggests. Sometimes clicking on my Photoshop icon in the dock will take me to the correct space, other times it ignores the click. The most annoying bug is when opening a new graphic, the graphic may appear in one space while the Photoshop GUI appears in another - it is VERY difficult to get the graphic into the same space as Photoshop. I have had to force quit Photoshop more often since switching to CS4, which was one bad decision.
10.5: Issues with Adobe CS4 apps and Spaces in 10.5.7
Another interesting Spaces bug, but which is Apple's issue. Open Safari, click command-F (search for something on the web page). Search for something that is definitely on the page, so Safari grays out a little. Then go to another space. Click on the Safari icon and watch nothing happen. This has been an issue since 10.5.0. For some reason Apple chooses to not correct Spaces issues like this, even after 1.5 years on the market. I suspect Adobe's problems with not switching to the correct Space at certain times is somehow related since the behavior is identical. |
