Cursor positioning in the Safari 4 Beta Google search box

Command-left arrow and right arrow as well; holding the option key also seems to jump to the beginning/end in conjunction with up/down arrows. Option-left/right jumps to the beginning/end of the word.

Cursor positioning in the Safari 4 Beta Google search box

This is standard behavior throughout OS X. Command left/right will bring you to the beginning/end of a line. Option left/right will jump word by word. Also, Command up/down will bring you to the beginning/end of a document, whereas Option up/down will jump by paragraph. This is also very useful in text editing, since you can use shift-command or shift-option to highlight lines or words.
