re: Mounted a volume?

nfs mount is different from SMB (samba) mount. NFS is network file system (developed by Sun now maintained by a commitee) which is pervasive in UNIX land. The standard mount command supports it. SMB is server message block, the M$ windows network protocol. Mounting windows share requires sambamount. The true nature of these two is somewhat more complicated, but you get the idea.
