Almost Every Book?
Authored by: EatingPie on Mar 10, '09 01:11:38PM

I'm a Sony Reader owner, and I'm rooting for e-books like crazy, even Kindle versions (we need a unified standard, desperately!).

But to claim that this is "almost every book" is so far off the mark, it's amazing. The *majority* of books are *not* in Kindle form.

Two simple examples: The Lord of the Rings books and the Harry Potter books. These are absolutely the most famous fantasy novels of all time, and there is no Kindle version.

I'm not saying this to be rude or mean. I'm just pointing it out because it's not an honest or accurate assessment of things. I WANT the majority of books in Kindle format, but we aren't even close... and knowing that means we should pressure Amazon and Publishers to rectify the situation and get the e-books rolling!
