A simple fix for Mighty Mouse right-click issues

Thanks for the hint. It's a good hint, for those who don't work long, uninterrupted sessions with this mouse.

If you do, you should think about whether you really want to do all your clicking with one finger. Those clicks add up, and can cause damage to your hands over time. 3D, 2D and video artists, for example, routinely work long, uninterrupted hours, and also do a lot of click-and-hold, or click-drag, operations. I think it's better to spread some of that work to the other finger(s), if you can.

I use these mice in a computer lab, part of the day... reluctantly. The iMacs are great, for me and my hands, but the new keyboard and the MM are inferior in many ways.

I think the string of tips and questions here about the Mighty Mouse demonstrates its inferiority. In my view, a mouse shouldn't be so complicated or touchy that you find yourself sharing tips on how to right-click or avoid triggering scroll or Exposé accidentally.

I'll won't buy or recommend one to any user. For my work, I look for mice with at least 2 programmable buttons that I can set to "click lock". Lately I'm using a trackball that offers this.
