General question
Authored by: Mac Berry on Jan 30, '09 03:42:27AM

This is very interesting. I've been concidering replacing my Apple TV with a Mac Mini as a media server, but think I'd lose too much that the Apple TV can do, especially if I wanted to do it all through Front Row. Are there ways to do these things using Front Row:

Rent and buy iTunes movies?

Watch movies in HD?

Browse the iTunes store and buy music?

Sync photos from folders rather than from iPhoto?

See MobileMe or Flicka albums?

Send sound to Airport Express?

It would be great if Front Row was simply Apple TV on a Mac, but I think it's way behind?

Obviously with a keyboard so much more becomes possible, and then the Mac Mini really comes into it's own, so I think Front Row is what holds it back?

Mark
