How to avoid answering certain calls on the iPhone
If you get a call from a telemarketer, report them to the FCC. It's illegal for telemarketers to call a cell number, and the fines are pretty hefty.

This is the complaint form: http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/1088G-R.pdf note it does not apply to business phones only personal phones.
In general fcc complaints can be registered online and you can find the right form through their handy complaint wizard at: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm (this includes the form to complain about junk-faxes--I hate junk faxes--which applies to business numbers as well) Enjoy your new found ability to get satisfaction by using "The Man." While I love this idea, I wonder how effective it is in reality. I hear about the FCC penalizing telemarkerts only once in a blue moon. Granted the fine is usually quite high at that point but it seems like they're only going after 1 or 2 of them and the rest are left to ply their "trade".
