I don't know how to fix the backslashes, and initial experimentation (changing the escape special characters) didn't work. Maybe someone else can offer a solution.

As for moving the commands up in the contextual menu hierarchy, the OMCedit pane has a location drop-down menu that lets you select Top Level. In Finder, you still have to go through "More"; in Path Finder, top level IS top level.
