Sorry, but it's all alot easier than that.

I use Jaadu -- App Store Link.

The app is a fully accessible VNC client, but uses the built-in OS's VNC capability in 10.4-10.5 (no VNC application). It connects over both wifi and 3G, and the screen redraw is so fast I actually watch movies over it. You really don't need to jailbreak or use a VNC host app to get good iPhone VNC.

Jeffrey,

Your recommendation of Jaadu is not the same as what this hint is referring to. Jaadu is for control a computer using an iPhone. Veency, on the other hand, is for controlling an iPhone using a computer.

Jeff,

I think the OP is referring to viewing your iPhone from a Mac based VNC client. Not viewing a remote computer on the iPhone via VNC.
