Changing or turning off Cmd-Tab
Is there anyway to change the Command-Tab function to a different command, or at least turn the dang thing off? I use a lot of keyboard shortcuts in classic that interfere with this. Like in Quark, you use Command-Tab to switch between tools in the tool palette. In Mac OS 9, you can change or turn off the App switch key command, but I don't see how to do this in X. Argh! Very annoying having to move the mouse back and forth between my work and the tool palette.
Changing or turning off Cmd-Tab
surely there is, get the excellent app called keyboard maestro. it features a builtin app switcher, reminiscent of OS9's GoMac, which i remapped to option-tab to not conflict with the built-in app switcher; but more importantly for you it allows you to remap key combos both system wide and for individual apps
Changing or turning off Cmd-Tab
All Keyboard Maestro seems to do is add Option-Tab rather than delete Command-Tab and then add Option-Tab. |
