Remap the function keys on a standard PC keyboard
Authored by: lcpguy on Dec 03, '08 03:48:53PM

I just got a Uni-Comp "buckling spring" keyboard which is a PC only keyboard. I just love that old-time KB feel and the IBM buckling spring was the premier technology in KB function and tactile feedback. It is clickly, but not as loud as the Matias Tactile Pro. Plus it has an even better feel and is half the price.

Anyway, using Proxie, I have successfully remapped the f3, f4 and f5 keys to vol down, vol up and mute.

Thanx much for the tip. Works just GREAT.
