Quickly zoom photos in iPhoto's browse mode

If you are talking about entering full-screen, as-big-as-you-can-get mode, you have two options. (1) Set your iPhoto preferences to edit photos "Using full screen", then just hit return or enter to view the image in full-screen edit view. (2) Right-click the image and select "Edit using full screen". Alternatively, you can choose to view the image in a separate window using either of the two previous options.

In the full-screen editing mode, you can press 0 to zoom the image to fill the screen, 1 to zoom to 100%, and 2 to zoom to 200%.

And in thumbnail view, the 0,3,2 and 1 keys change the size of the thumbnails, from smallest to largest, in that order, although this is strangely illogical.
