Window capture limitation

One (perhaps obvious) caveat of the window capture: it doesn't actually capture the window contents, it just captures the area of the screen occupied by the window. So while you can select a window that is in the background, if it is partially covered by another window, that window (or at least the portion of it covering the selected window) will be captured instead of the contents of the selected one. As I said, this may have been obvious, but I thought it worth mentioning anyway.

I'm wondering if there isn't a magical key combo that will do the trick.

Also, you can capture desktop icons and even the dock (although the dock appears to keep the highlight color in the shot).

In 10.4.2 the underlying window is totally (by itself - ignores the overlapping window) captured...
