on 10.1.5, i had to disable the dock and use drop drawers and lite switch to get the control-tab app switching combo working. is it possible to switch the command key to some other key in 10.2? among other things, command-tab conflicts with tool bar cycling in quark...

That really seems like a Quark problem. (One of billions, from what I understand.) I prefer command +1 or command+ ` (backtick) for window cycling within an app. You may be able to change this. I did it for IE which has a three finger sequence by default.
app switching vs. quark
it could be a quark issue... but the tool cycling command has been command + tab (and command + shift+ tab) since way back before OS 9 (quite possibly since before quark 3).
since i use quark and this key combo often, i'd like to change the dock's default behavior without disabling the dock. without the dock in the picture and with lite switch in place, everything's fine. but i really wouldn't mind the dock if it would allow me to configure app switching like OS 8.5-9's app switcher did. apple, let us configure app switching! |
