Use Gmail Labs to remove 'All Mails' folder from Mail.app

I do not have access to Gmail Labs under settings. I have a normal @gmail.com address and have my language set to English (US). Anything else I can try.

This has always bugged me so much. Real PITA when using Mail.app with Gmail over IMAP.

You also have to be using the "new" GMail view, as opposed to the old "html" view.

Lifehacker published a trick to enable Labs on GMail accounts that are missing it. I haven't tried it myself, but it may be worth a shot:

*Note this doesn't work for "Google Apps For Your Domain" accounts.
