Disable ssh access for password-guessing bots

If you don't care about breaking compatibility, moving SSH to a different port will have two effects: 1) it will clear clutter from your logs and 2) ssh login attempts you see on another port are probably far more serious than port 22 scanning bots.

So long as you realize you aren't trying to hide the door, just move doorknob so someone has to look around to find it, you'll will still be better off.

I've heard the "obscurity is not security" phrases all the time. Obscurity is a layer of security. Just make sure it's not the only layer.

Private keys help a lot.
