Open parent folder in a new window
Authored by: gizmo on Oct 06, '08 12:07:18PM

What OS was this found in? I'm running Tiger (10.4.11) and when I try CTRL + COMMAND + UP ARROW the Finder does the same thing as COMMAND + UP ARROW. If I hold ALT + COMMAND + UP ARROW then the Finder will open the parent folder in a new window, but also closes the first window. Is the original hint a Leopard only feature?

I'm also using Tiger and it doesn't seem to work.

I wondered why I've never heard of it before, but I guess it's a new feature.

Yes, it appears only to work in Leopard. I'll have to ask Rob to assign it that way.
