Open parent folder in a new window
A command-click on the folder icon in the title bar shows the hierarchy of folders containing the currently displayed files.

Actually, this works in safari too.
Command-clicking in the title in the title-bar shows a list of sites backtracking to the original domain. For example, at the site http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/eagleeye/ I see http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/ http://www.apple.com/trailers/ http://www.apple.com/ Command clicking on one of those will open it in a new tab. (Note that I only used this site because it was the longest I saw in the completions Safari gave me when I typed apple.com)

In 10.5, you can also use a right-click or control-click to get the same hierarchy menu in the Finder or Safari.
